Matangi is the most centrally located of all Fiji's northern island resorts to the exceptional scuba diving sites that Fiji is famous for. Within a 20-mile radius of Matangi Island are countless dive sites including the world famous Great White Wall and Noel's Wall. To ensure the best diving experience, dive sites are chosen according to daily tidal movements and prevailing weather conditions.

Dive certification courses available upon request. Dive gear is available for hire. Additional day or night dives can be purchased. Day trips to the more remote sites are also available when there is a minimum of six divers; weather and tidal movement permitting. A surcharge applies but includes the option of a third tank dive at no charge.

Unlimited shore diving off the resort’s main beach-frontage is available to divers who prepay a minimum of three days of diving. Shore diving offers excellent macro photography opportunities.

Our dive boat departs daily at approximately 8:30 am for a single tank dive followed by a surface interval before a second tank dive. Our dive boat returns to the island for lunch. Dive towels and refreshments are provided.

Diving at Matangi is both diverse and exciting. Numerous off-shore reefs, spectacular coral formations including multitudes of hard and soft corals and plummeting walls provide a unique habitat for a rich and vibrant marine life.
